Frequently asked
Questions we hear every week
How long does it take to open an account?
Most personal accounts are opened online in under ten minutes. Identity verification is usually instant; occasionally we ask for a document upload, which we review within one business day.
What do I need for identity verification?
A government-issued photo ID and a proof of address dated within the last three months. Business accounts also require incorporation documents and beneficial-ownership details.
When do transfers arrive?
Internal transfers are instant. Local transfers usually settle the same business day. International transfers typically take one to three business days depending on the corridor.
Is there a minimum balance?
Standard personal current accounts have no minimum balance and no monthly maintenance fee. Some premium and business accounts do — the fee schedule is shown before you apply.
How do I get a statement?
Statements are available in online banking under Statements, and can be downloaded as a PDF for any period you select.
